The Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to Cypriot students, EU students and third country students either based on students' academic performance or based on both academic performance and socio-economic status. Students may receive a scholarship up to EUR 3,000 per year in first-cycle programmes and up to EUR 4,000 per year in second-cycle programmes.Scholarship to study at the College of Europe
As of December 2021 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the initiative of the General Secretariat for European Affairs, has entered into a cooperation with the College of Europe and within this framework, it offers an annual scholarship for studies at the College of Europe.The College of Europe was founded in 1949 and since 1992 has two university campuses, in Bruges (Belgium) and Natolin (Poland). It offers a wide choice of postgraduate programs in European Union affairs, providing postgraduate students with the necessary skills to live and work for the EU, but more generally in a european and international environment.
Based on the provisions of the relevant Memorandum and the College of Europe's tuition fees for the academic year 2024-2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs grants to Cypriot citizens one (1) scholarship amounting to twenty-nine thousand euros (€29 000) to study at the Bruges Campus of the College of Europe or one (1) scholarship amounting to twenty-seven thousand euros (€27 000) to study at the Natolin Campus of the College. The scholarship covers tuition fees and accommodation.
The deadline for applications to the College is 16 January 2024. Applications for the College of Europe are to be completed and submitted online at the website of the College.
The College of Europe proceeds with the first selection of candidates, which is then finalized by the National Selection Board of the Republic of Cyprus.
